I have downloaded and install the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor Beta software and have installed it on my home computer. My problem is after I launch the software and select “Start system Scan” I receive a page cannot be found error page. You know the one that tells you to check network settings – etc. Well my network connection is fine and I have no trouble accessing any web sites at all. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to get past this error?
I use WinXP Pro SP2 w/ IE 7 beta1
Thanks

Vista Upgrade Advisor Problem
Try reinstalling the product - should fix it.

He did that. I would suggest downloading the application again. Also, it could be a conflict with IE 7. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Zack Whittaker" wrote in message

I have re-installed it 2x and also tried running the repair option. I guess I will try removing IE7 Beta 1 unless anyone else has an idea?

Although I really appreciated all the information this file provided me, I was forced to send a questionnaire where the first 2 'reasons' for wanting to use Vista were already checked (included Security) and I could NOT uncheck them. I am using the 'security' in Vista currently and I would have unchecked that box had I been allowed. Thanks for listening..........katy
Keep in mind that the Upgrade Advisor is BETA code... let MS know how you feel, but don't get yer shorts knotted up over it...

I had to send a questionnaire that included 2 pre-checked questions I was unable to uncheck in order to run this file. I didn't think that was honest. I did not check the box that said I wanted Security with Vista. I would uncheck that. TIA.... katy
Use the Feedback icon to send this to MS. They won't see it here.
